12-10 CarolinaExplorer Fishing Report: We are still catching fish and having fun!! Red drum, black drum, Small specks and whiting.. Call 910-264-18...
Hello everyone, Sorry for the long delay in reports. I have been catching fish and having way too much fun. The red drum are biting and in their typical winter pattern. We are catching them on gulp baits, live mud minnows and fres shrimp. We just fish from spot to spot until we find them. Great action on light tackle this time of year. The black drum have been hitting the shrimp when fishing for the reds. There are lots of small trout around, just not large concentrations of big fish. Just fun action on Mirro-lures, DOA shrimp, and billy bay shrimp. The whiting are biting in the mouth of the river on fresh shrimp. Bottom rigs along the edge of the channel have been producing great catches of those tasty fish. Now is a great time to come down to the coast and get in on some hot winter fishing. Call 910-264-1807 to book your trip, We will pick the best day for you to catch fish.
