Carolina
Explorer Wildlife Tours are a great way to explore Coastal North Carolina. We
take pride in showing you the birds, reptiles, and mammals in their natural
environment and at a respectful distance. The Cape Fear River and surrounding
salt marshes are full of bird nesting islands, dolphins, and natural beauty.
These islands also serve as stop offs for migrating birds and are home to deer
and rabbits. Masonboro Island, which is owned by the state of North Carolina,
and Lea Island, which is owned by the Audubon Society, are two undeveloped
barrier islands in our region. These islands are a great places to view birds
and have a fun day in the sun without the crowds. We have several great
waterfront restaurants and bars. If you would like to stop and eat, just let us
know. Each trip is customized to fit the needs of your group or family. We
cover the avid bird watcher and naturalist, to the everyday sun seeker.
