I had three great fisherman and women on board today, Kim, Soo YOung and No fish. Kim and Soo Yound caught plenty of Spiny sharks, black sea bass and ring tails. No fish was not getting a bite. I do not speak Korean, but I was understanding his frustration. At the end of the trip everyone was catching fishing and having a great time. Coastal Fishing Report 02/16/10
The Coastal charter fishing in Carolina Beach today was great with the Gushman family. The entire famliy caught lots of Sharks and a few seabass. Again the amount of fishig action was incredible, lots of fish caught on this fishig charter. We were blessed with great weather and fishing. Looking foward to fishing with the Gushmans this summer. Inshore Fishing Report 02/27/10
I fished today with my brother on a quick fishing trip on the new Redfish Explorer flatsboat. We caught several slot size redfish and lots of small ones as well. The new flats skiff that I built is awesome, plenty of room, selfbailing, and a true shallowwater redfishing machine. All redfish were caught on artificial lures in the flats boat. The flats fishing is heating up, the redfish are biting on the nice days. This action will be heating up well into the spring and summer. Get out of the house and cure the winter time blues.
