The Carolina Explorer is a 24ft Mako bay boat with a 225hp Mercury 4-stroke engine, Minn-Kota trolling motor, and all USCG safety gear. The boat has lots of room for fishing and a top for shade.

It has been cold, but the fishing still remains hot!! Lots of red drum and a few black drum. Call and book your trip today!!!!!! 910-264-1807. We have been catching Red fish, Black drum and a few trout on our inshore trips over the past few weeks. The red fish and trout have been biting live bait and lures. We have been fishing oyster rocks and holes looking for trout and red fish. A few small flounder have been hitting around the holes in the creeks as well. We have been catching reds on soft plastics on jig heads, Strike-King minnows, D.O.A paddle tails, and Gulp Alive shrimp and minnows. The Red fish are here all winter, Call me and we will pick a day with the best tides and weather. If you want to kick back and relax we will use mud minnows, shrimp, or cut mullet. We always have a great time on the water no matter your skill level. Having fun and catching fish is a priority on every trip. You do not have to be an expert, beginners welcome. Off the coast the fishing has been good, plenty of action. We are catching lots of Sea Bass and Sharks on cut bait. The Sharks are the Spiny Dogfish, which are great eating, it is what they make fish and chips out of in England. Great tasting white meat and easy to fry up. You can catch the sharks until your arms get sore, lots of fun. I always make sure you catch fish and have a great time.
