Inshore Fishing Report 06/11/09   


The Carolina Beach inshore fishing today was great with Jenni and her husband. We had a great fishing trip with plenty of topwater redfish action. They caught some realy nice redfish in shallow water on lures. It was a pleasure to have a couple who fished so well together. Fishing fun was had by everone. The flats fishing will be good for a few more weeks, and keep in mind it gets even better in the fall and winter. The carolina beach fishing was great today with the David and his son Eric. These guys have fished with me for 7years and manage to hit the fish every time. I need their luck when I buy my lottery ticket. We caught lots of spanish mackerel and bluefish today. We had plenty of action and a good time was had by all...Looking foward to the next fishing trip at the end of August. Fished today with Tim and Dave. Tims wife Erin gave him a fishing trip for his birthday. We had a great fishing trip catching lots of spanish mackerel and sharks all on light tackle. We are not winching them in, the drag burns and it is a blast to catch these fish. Dave kept stats on the fishing trip, he caught more than Tim. Tim might envite him back if he is lucky. Maybe Daves wife will give him a trip for his birthday, HINT, HINT.....
